Luxury and quality are synonymous with the Gulfstream brand. As part of their world-class customer service, Gulfstream has strategically located their Component Repair & Overhaul (R&O) Facilities across the nation. R&O facilities are specially equipped to maintain and rebuild airplane parts to be of factory quality. The Fort Worth location sits on nine acres and encompasses just under 113,000-sf. The project consisted of a new shell ready to be built to house owner-furnished equipment (OFE) for the upkeep of luxury private jets. When the opportunity to build out the Fort Worth R&O location arose, Polk Mechanical Company was initially contracted to install the plumbing, piping, and mechanical. We also took on the structural steel scope shortly after the project began, as well as the installation of specialty paint booths for private jet component refurbishment. We finished our part on schedule and within budget. Overall, the 10-month project was a successful partnership between the Owner, the GC, and us.
